Due to state budget cuts to Independent living centers Access II is unable to provide benefits planning services in the same manner that we have in the past. We no longer have a certified Benefits Specialist on staff and benefits planning services will now be limited. Are you receiving SSA Disability Benefits and would like information on options on returning to work?
Social Security has work incentives that allow you to try work without fear of losing your Social Security Benefits. Access II has a Certified Benefits Specialist that can provide you with information on each work incentive that pertains to the SSA benefit you are receiving. Whether you are receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). If eligible, some work incentives can also protect your Medicare and Medicaid benefits while working; thus increasing your monthly income.
Are you an individual with a disability who is no longer able to work?
Access II can assist you with the application process for Social Security Disability Benefits. We can provide you assistance with the initial application, functioning reports, paperwork and the appeal process. We can also provide you with the tools you will need to successfully advocate for the benefits you are eligible for.

Access II can refter you to a CLAIM counselor on staff to assist you through the process of receiving Medicare health insurance benefits. The CLAIM counselor can:
*Answer all your questions about Medicare benefits
*Assist you in enrolling in Medicare
*Complete a Plan comparison with Part D
*Enroll you in a Part D plan
*Provide information and options with Medigap (Part C) and Medicare Advantage plans.
*Provide eligibility requirements for Medicare Cost Savings Programs and application assistance.

*Extra Help Reduce Part D (premium, deductibles and copays)
*QMB- Pay for Part B premium
*SLMB- Pay for Part B premium
*QI-1- Pay for Part B premium (subject to federal funding)
*MO Healthnet- requirements and application assistance
*Missouri RX-Part B assistance- assist with application
*Provide you information on Medicare Preventive and Wellness services- at no cost to Medicare beneficiary
